The NRL announced Greenberg has replaced Dave Smith, who resigned in October last year.
Greenberg has been the NRL’s head of football since 2013 and was chief executive of Canterbury before he moved to Moore Park.
“Todd not only ticked all the boxes, he nailed them,” ARLC Chairman John Grant said.
