reality is there is no such thing, especially in rugby league where you are expected to be a financial guru, a business growth expert, a rugby league expert, be able to mould the refs and game to be more enjoyable, get fans to support the clubs in a meaningful way, be a diplomat to stop factions destroying the game and getting you sacked, miraculously keep 16 poorLy run businesses that you have little control over viable, and manage an entire country of amateur sport. Good luck filling that criteria!

DSmith was driven out in under 3 years.
MickBrown got sick of it in under a year before he even got into NRLhq.
That Bill Moss bloke wanted to come onto the Eels board to help out and he was quickly told to stand for election or f*ck off.
Clubs churn through CEOs, directors, chairman like they are nothing

Who in their right mind, with all of those qualifications and all of that experience, would risk their reputation in the NRL bearpit?

There is a pretty obvious reason why all of our admin (clubs and hq) are useless lumps. We can only attract people with no better options........

Greenberg would have stood down Mitchell and Addo-Carr indefinitely from all NRL activities until an investigation was complete and revised penalties imposed.
