Tigers chief executive Stephen Humphreys also released a statement saying: "Todd is aware that he will receive his share of public humiliation for this but it is important to recognise that he has admitted his wrongdoing."


Typical rubbish from the Tigers. All they do is issue statements that mean nothing. If he punched a nun then admitted he was wrong, Humphries would issue the exact same statement.

Wake up to yourself. He desecrated a war memorial. No matter how drunk you are, there is absolutely no way you will bypass the 100 trees in Hyde Park, walk to the middle (which is not a short walk), then piss on the memorial. It's disgraceful and his response is a joke to every digger that defended this country. Let me guess, you're gonna try and defend him yeah? Hang your head in shame.

Thanks for the link 40-20. Im probly leaning towards giving Todd the benifit of doubt, he has always been a very level headed bloke while with the tigers. I do how ever wonder why he didnt use 1 of 100's of trees as you have said

I can't for the life of me ever imagine myself being so drunk that I didn't know where i was taking a p!ss. I've been so drunk I couldn't see my own footsteps and couldn't remember how i walked home, so this behaviour just plain baffles me and makes me sad. Humphries is a coward with no spine. I used to work with one of the wests tigers board members and he is ashamed of the clubs response. says it all really.

40/20 you've got some serious issues.

Shame about Payton. I always held him in high esteem, up there with the likes of Skando, O'Neill and Hodgo as great clubmen. Silly mistake from a great guy. I've had nights where I drank 30 beers and didn't' know what I was doing. We all have. I won't villify him too badly but....certainly can't condone him being the mentor or our young 20s in the light of this.

We've all done something stupid while intoxicated, some we laugh at and some we try really quickly to forget. The only difference between Payten, and Gaz for that matter is that they are public figures got busted.

While the actions are very different the outcome is not. Womens rights groups would bs as appauled at Gaz as ANZACS would be at Payten, no more and no less, just the same.

Typical was not typical before the Moltzen saga, which by the way i dont support but Tigers and Dragons fans always had a respectfull rivalry but dickheads like you are are slowly, but surely eliminating the respect with your rubish.
