Ooh look the wests fans are getting all defensive about the successful juggernaut they were for one season in 1992 after Jim Masterton raided canterbury and they made the semis one year. Wests were by and large a basket case from 1983 to 1999 ... in that time Balmain made 2 Grand Finals, 4 midweek cup finals (winning 2) and between 1983 and 1990 missed the finals only once (1984). Wests were gone without Balmain in 1999 and not vice versa as Balmain would have been the NRL's 14th team.

As a Wests Magpies fan I always saw Balmain as easybeats. Even when we had a sh*t side aswell (which was most of the time). Hated playing good teams like St George and Canterbury but always looked forward to playing Balmain. Chalked in the 2 points for the guarenteed win on the calender every time.

I`d give MOTH a run as the CEO and possibly the coach, IMO he couldn`t do much worse than what we currently have, but he`s a definate NO NO for recruitment manager as he would`ve paid that money hungry centre that has departed us, the $275,000 per season that he thaught he was worth. If that would`ve happened, i would be making more posts than MOTH whinging and moaning in disgust !!!
