I can just tell by the number of Tongan flags on cars and houses the support isn’t there this time. 2017 you saw flags on every 4th or 5th car driving through Mangere and Otahuhu and now you see it every 25/30 cars. Be interesting to see the walk up crowd, weather is forecast for cloud but no rain

I haven’t seen one in SW Sydney, last year for the Kangaroos game and the World Cup in 2017 there were heaps.

Well

With 24 hours to go until kick off, we have well and truly fallen short of a sell out. This should have been the easiest match ever to sell out.

The NZRL should seek some pretty strong feedback from Duco Events for how they have failed to deliver a stronger return from this match. Would also be seeking some reassurance that the GB Lions tour won’t be a complete disaster. How do they intent to sell out Hamilton, Eden Park and Christchurch?

Hopefully tomorrow can get above 20,000.

Totally out priced the event which is no suprise if duco is involved. They did the same thing for the NRL nines when they increased the price for the second year just because the first one sold it....and the Nines never recovered...

To busy trying to make a buck....

Always the risk of having an external events company running the event is they'll put the focus on yield versus a full crowd.

For Duco they still would have made a decent chunk of money out of this game even though it won't sell out, just by the relatively high ticket prices (the Australia Test may have had comparable pricing by the Platinum and Gold Bays were a lot smaller)

Originally the entire Eastern and Western grandstands were Platinum/Gold. A mess of their own making
