Ayshford 8 missed tackles, he has gone backwards and would be another player I'd ship right out the door at seasons end if we could.

Play Siro in the centres.

Ayshford was pretty poor wasn't he. He simply doesn't look like a first grade centre at the moment. I think as a reserve back rower he could slot in but at the moment he just looks poor.

Yep I agree, he is pretty quick, I'd like to see a backline of:

1. Ryan
2. Utai
3. Sironen
4. Lawrence
5. Kotobiete
6. Marshall
7. Moltzen

Next week, play ayshford as the back on the bench who gets 0-3 minutes

Kotobiete wasn't really that flash in the 20's last night...

Ayshford has been poor all season hasn't he. Has he put weight on because I remember reading somewhere Sheens wanted to turn him into a back rower in the pre season.

Our back row was so much better. Blair should be benched at best.

Next week
8 Woods
9 Farah
10 Galloway
11 Ellis
12 Fulton
13 Bell

14 BMM
15 Hino
16 Blair
17 Moors

That should be our starting pack!

Not happy with the bench though, needs more size and moors is not first grade standard.

I wonder who is going to miss out next year when Anasta and some others come into the squad.

Out of Blair, Fulton and Heighno I think Fulton is the most deserving to keep his spot. He missed a tackle last night that he should have made however he is an option in attack, he works hard and his defence is usually really good.

Fulton will go to the bench. He shouldn't and doesn't deserve too, but Sheens has shown his hand in the past and has been pretty quick to drop Fulton to the bench.

With a fully fit back row, he has chosen Ellis, Blair and Heighington as starters.

Anasta will be Lock next year, Hino will move to second row (Unless we snare Lewis) alongside Blair. Fulton will be on the bench.

Bell should be the first backrower picked at the moment.

I already want to cry thinking about our backrow next year.

13 Anasta
12 Heighno
11 Blair

Not one of them capable of punching a hole in defense or dominating a tackle.

Blair and Anasta are very capable of both of those things as long as Sheens doesn't coach them into Chris Heighington clones.

Personally I'd play him in the centres next year.

1. Tedesco
3. Sironen
4. Lawrence
6. Anasta
7. Marshall (we all know Sheens won't budge)
11. Lewis (hopefully)
12. Blair
13. Fulton

By the time Anasta's 2 years are up we have the Australian Schoolboys halves paring of Brooks and Mosses coming through. Both look very good prospects.

I think Curtis will end up in the backrow.

Woods, Lovett, Sironen, Brooks and Moses. We do have some very good juniors coming through the grades.

We do have a lot of good juniors coming through but we need to remember that most winning sg ball sides usually only have 1 or 2 players that go on to be nrl first graders!

Sirro in the centres I mentioned a while back,a great idea I think,Benji at 6 is the best option, but you are right Sheens won't budge on that.:x

Next year I'd be happy for Sironen to play off the bench. Anasta is only here for one season.

God our centres are going to be starved of ball next year
6 - Anasta
7 - Marshall

I think thru his recruitment of Anasta, they have literally ensured / forced the moved of Benji into 7 being permanent. Anasta will have to be 6 and Sironen slot into the centres. Meaning Ayshford on to the interchange bench as a utility capable a centre, 6 or backrow.

I think their recruitment has become a biit of a mess- either Anasta was a superfluous signing or Sironen has come up faster than anticipated- either way these actions are forcing Benji's move. Whether it was now or in the 2013 season when Anasta is on board it was going to happen. Unless of course Sironen was flagged for the centres and Sheens is persisting in playing him out of preferred position...............
