Anyone that thinks Archer is a bad ref has no idea.

I guarentee if that was any other ref we'd be talking about 6 different suspensions today.

Yeah you're right. Forward passes, for example, mean nothing any more. I was shocked to see one picked up by Archer last night.

Maxwell is considered number 3,so once Hayne and Archer go Maxwell will be the top bloke,and he's only still young too.

You might argue he took control of the game, but he's still awful at judging knock-ons, forward passes, keeping teams onside, ruling on tries and on and on, you know, 99% of what a ref is supposed to do. They all arguably make a lot of errors, but Archer makes some really, blatantly terrible calls.

Headbutting should be an instant send off. He bottled it, probably cost Melbourne the game and then created a situation where Q'land are likely to be missing Slater. If that passes for good reffing then god help us!
