when we have a fully fit team we can match it with anyone, however when a few players are out from key positions this will happen. thanks to our off field gurus for forming our 21,22 or whatever it is man squad, absolutely brilliant.

moltzen is soft and doesnt back up. if gallant plays he scores tries off the ellis and hanbury breaks.

ryan is just plain sh*t, probably the worst winger in the comp. his 2 meter sideways dummy half runs are special

halatau has no urgency in defence and is too one dimensional. no other club in the nrl would pick a player like him. i guess sheens thinks he is 'versitile' and thats what matters

ayshford is rubbish, ive seen him play probably 20-25 games in the lower grades and he has never stood out in any of them. a poor mans john wilson for mine

corey payne has no effect when running the ball and is good for a stupid penalty when you least need it.

heighington has a fat new contract ans has preceeded to play like absolute sh*t ever since. if running at the markers was a skill then he would be the best player in the nrl

payten needs to be told that in conditions like the last 2 weeks put the ball under the f*cking arm and just run hard. the ball playing has a time and a place, today was certainly not it.

gibbs - when skando came on i saw skando take 3 hit ups in one set. gibbs was no where to be cited. fourth tackle next set he takes his hit up and like clock work submits as soon as he gets to the line. at least he has progressed from getting driven backwards. then he gets tackled on the fifth, must have thought it was the fourth as i saw him call for the ball.

morris - well what else can be said? i thought at hooker he might be alright, however he completely f*cked our attack up. so often players got the ball with no room to move.

we seriously need to release about 10 players for next year. in farah and marshall we have 2 of the best attacking players in the nrl. collis, lawrence and tuiaki outside them and the tries will come.

Moltzen was effective on the kick returns, however, as you said, his support play was atrocious. It always has been. He looks far more suited to playing in the centres.

Halatau is living off one good run in the 2005 semi-final.

Asyford is worse than John Wilson. He is the current equivalent of Ben Duckworth.

Beau Ryan makes young children cry.

Corey Payne was improving gradually over the past month, but today he regressed to his former level.

Heighington stays on the field for 50 minutes longer than his form warrants.

Ellis was reasonably strong today although he's still a good year away from adapting to intensity of the NRL. He was pretty pissed off when he made the break only to realise that he lacked support.

Payten is having a miserable year.

Benji is a glorified Preston Campbell. I said it about 3 years ago and I stick by my judgement.

benji is not a halfback.

He's an exceptional number 6.

Actually, Heighington looked real good with 15 to go.

Offloads and hitting the gaps real hard. Shame he can't do that all the time.

If we get rid of Halatau, Payne, Gibbs, Morris, Payten and a few others, we'll be great.

sh*thead has won 4 comps in 30 yrs of coaching you know
He is the current oz coach
He managed to win 3 comps with sides full of sh*t like Belcher, Daley, Stuart, Meninga, Clyde, Walters, Lazarus, Mullens
And since the war he even bats better than 1 in 3
The sh*thead is a guru don't you read the papers

For me Hanbury is the main problem, he has done precisely zero all year.

Ayshford I think has potential, but needs time.

Iam afraid after the last three matches where we did enough to win them all yet came up with sweet f all todays result was on the cards. The let down was always just around the corner. When you have a bits and pieces team minus plenty of guns these days are going to happen and probably often. Teams just dont have the experience in the depth any more mainly due to the salary cap and also a pretty sub standard second teir comp.

I cant think of any other team with 5 fgraders on the side lines would have done any better

Beau Ryan should never run from dummy half, he can't even beat the first marker...EVER...he made about 10 dummy half runs today, that would've made 15m all up

Benji Marshall cannot control the game, he is NOT a halfback.

Todd Payten should NEVER EVER play prop again, he just doesn't make the yardage required

LOL why do u guys even bother worrying anymore, I havnt watched a game for the last month or so apart from getting sucked into going to the SCG to watch us lose against souths. I was a massive diehard who would do anything and everything to watch them play but now i can predict a f**khead's selection lose on about wednesday when he picks the side. They have actualy done ok considering but the time must be very close when the players themselves get sick of the geniused selections and throw in the towel and give the sharkies a run for the spoon. Such as shame as i have never been one to give up on them but when that wanker just continualy kills our chances week in and week out i cant help feel any other way.
Go Robbie in S of O , hope he has a blinder as that will be my only 2009 highlight.

Not to mention our best players in Galloway, Lawrence and Farah.

I'll be honest, I think the players would perform better under a far more strict, hard working, imaginative, inventive and smarter coach

Hard on Moltzen. I thought he was close to our best. The guy is not a fullback and is still having a decent crack. If you're gonna have Moltzen in the side play him at 6 or 7 where he belongs. Sheens is clown. Gallant at fullback, natural intincts as a footy player. *edit*. Get rid of Beau and Payne as well. Sheens is a clown.

Rookies aren't all up to it yet but can't blame them.

Gibbs just hasn't kicked on at all.

Halatau is in one of his ordinary patches (they normally last about 3/4 of a season).

Payten hasn't hit the ball up like he meant it all season and has stuffed up in key moments more than once.

Heighington does too much of too little.

And the worst perfomers, week in, week out - Morris and Ryan - will get picked next week, and the week after, and the week after that. There's no use complaining. When was the last time Timmy dropped an 'established' first grader due to poor form? From memory, Fitzhenry and Halatau have both been banished to first division in recent years after extended periods of poor form - and that's it.

We'll get some players back and go ok and miss the eight again. And Sheens will moan and groan about another player "cleanout" (read, get rid of Bronson Harrison and change nothing).

It really is time to put a broom through the place. Starting at the top.

3. Lawrence
4.
5.
6. Marshall
7.
8. Galloway
9. Farah

14. Laurie

All signed up. The rest can sing for their supper.

Yep, and Fitzhenry's demotion lasted one game.

Yep the golden child was put into first grade despite Rieck scoring a try a game when the great man was dropped. Who could forget ...
