Yes, that Jet ripoff song is truley deserved of the number 10 song EVER! :?

Blur - Song 2, number 4???

C'mon. Oh well, no one will ever be happy with these lists. I'm not going to bother looking at the other 180.

Also, that Goanna song has always sh!tted me since the first time I heard it.

How the hell do they class something as rock... There is like 10 different genres in that top 20 alone.

Even without "Shuddup ya Face", Nick Hornby's "31 Songs" is a much, much better list.

Pretty bloody obvious that list is compiled by Australians, most people outside this country hardly even remember Cold Chisel, Jimmy Barnes or the Angels if they ever heard of them in the first place.

Rex, you're a star.

2 great songs by my favourite band, Teenage Fanclub.

I proposed to my wife during "Ain't That Enough" at the TFC show at the Metro in '97. Good times, good times.

Great little book too.

aah...to be in love...

"Ain't That Enough"

(Gerard Love)

If you can I wish you would
Only if you feel you should
Bring your loving over
All adds up with circumstance
All stood up with taking stands
Bring your loving over

Highlights glisten
Silence listens
Days that found you
Embrace that found you

Here is a sunrise Aint that enough
True as a clear sky, ain't that enough
Toy town feelings here to remind you
Summers in the city do what you gotta do

Time can only make demands
Fill it up with grains of sand
Bring your loving over
Highlights glisten
Silence listens
Days that found you
Embrace that found you

Here is a sunrise Aint that enough
True as a clear sky, ain't that enough
Toy town feelings here to remind you
Summers in the city do what you gotta do
Toy town feelings whose gonna argue
Summers in the city Summers in the city

"Your Love Is The Place Where I Come From"

(Raymond McGinley)

Your sadness don't lie
Your feelings can't hide
You always know why
But your reasons are sly
You never deny
What you feel inside
I
I Disappear when you're not here
In my life

I can't slip away when I see your face
I lose my confusion
Your Love Is The Place Where I Come From
When I'm on my own I'm lost in space
My freedoms a delusion
Your Love Is The Place Where I Come From

My sadness don't lie
My feelings can't hide
I Just can't deny
What I feel inside

CHORUS to end

Who's Cold Chisel??......some pub band from Australia who couldn't even get a pub gig overseas.

I've seen some bad lists in my time, that would have to be the bloody worst, even Van halen's Hot for Teacher.......not a bad song??, but Van Halen had 50 better songs & more rock related then that, if you ever wan't to listen to real rock listen to Van halen's first album, the chronic!!

No Ratt aswell

Any music list compiled in Australia should imediately be stripped of any credibility because it no doubt includes a cold chisel track or album. Good luck finding anyone out of Australiasia who knows who the hell they are.
