Well well Big Mick, I'm just a couple of percent off!
Poor old Craig Trindall, he's been well and truly boned for the sins of the whole side of 2006. My heart goes out to him. The ship is sinking, they find the cabin-boy and toss him off in the hope they can stay afloat longer Meantime, the officers are up on the bridge playing cards (excuse the pun). He deserves an honourable release and a gig where his obvious talents can be better utilised.
Mark my words Big Mick, perhaps with the inclusion of Firman, its a matter of back to the future for 2007. I expect greater changes in opposition teams.
So its a question of whether Elliot can change old habits, introduce new tricks and how long everyone can keep healthy.
I'm sniffing around the forums, the good news for the Panthers is that I dont think all sides are especially lunching out on beefcake for 2007. In that case, we may see more foxes than tigers. BK and Morley would account for 10% of the games muscle on their ownsome!
Still, with no radical positional changes, the Panthers wont be complete strangers (look at the estranged Roosters for example-Amos would be better acquainted with the Panthers-watch for the phony calls when you play them!)
If you thought 2006 wasnt so bad a year for the panthers (like me) then its a positive. If you thought it was annus horribulus, then the signs arent as promising.
Can Elliot conjer up the freshening up the lads need? Lets hope so.:?
Dont call people idiots either Big Mick, you are a bigger bloke than that. Thats like Joey whinging at the ref last year. 16 seasons of first grade and he expects a ref to change his decison! Smithy will fix him.
If Elliot selects more than four fresh & new players in Round one than Lang did in Round 1 last year, I'll eat my hat and buy the baby a junior panther membership. Thats run-on too.
