I like the squad. I'd be happy if we survive the year without seeing either of Kent of Emilio in first grade. Great to see Jon Green in there. I thing he has a great future, but probably wouldn't be ready for first great until next year.

Good squad, but Kent would be nice.

Still, if Saleh can play better than him, he will get the spot, as much as I want Kent in there.

Kent could be a very good finisher, can pop a good ball, can tackle, can catch and is good under the high ball.

He shits all over Saleh. Kent should be on the wing :(

Why the sudden Kent bandwagon? Sure he was okay, but he was just another average player in an average team when he even made first grade last season.

the big man in charge of the kent bandwagon was frenzy

with his stats, he proved that kent was our best outside back in the games he played last year

i used to be someone who mocked kent as being our biggest name signing...a true neville, but then i saw the light

he goes alright

I never saw much in Kent. For mine, putting aside the spitting incident, Saleh is a better player.

Another player who probably missed the top 25 due to injury and no chance to impress the new coach would be David Simmons. I think he could still get a few chances in first grade this year.

Nah Kent played well in 03 and he was a good back. To be honest, I havent seen all that much of Saleh, so it will be interesting to see how he goes if selected in the squad in the first few games.

B/C we have so much depth, it will be a shame to see so many of our back confined to Premier League with only the odd first grade game.

I will be happy if the likes of Kent, Saleh and co never see the light of first grade this season. Why? Because it means Vagana, Franze and the rest won't be on the sidelines with injury.

Kent or Saleh.. its a much of a muchness. Neither are quality first graders and I hope neither has to step out of their depth this season.

I totally disagree Garbo. Kent has plenty of first grade quality about him. I can't pick in my top 17 just yet but he hasn't reached his potential yet. I saw glimpses of it last year. At worst he is a vital back up centre/winger.
