Well now that it's half way through the competition we are starting to see the contendors emerge.

I think the Crusaders and Brumbies are going to be there.

The Waratahs look like the could shrug off their chokers tag, But you never know.

The fourth spot is a real battle, I think the two favourites for the spot are the Highlaanders and the Huricanes.

So my prediction is
Crusaders
Brumbies
Waratahs
Hgihlanders

Tahs
Cantabs
Canes
Highlanders

ACT to miss the final four since the comp started I think ? especially if they lose to the Blues this week.

Crusaders, Tahs and Brumbies for the top 3 in no particular order.

'Canes or Highlanders for 4th spot (carn the 'Canes!!)

SA teams are rubbish as usual, whose stupid idea was admitting a 5th SA team to the competition? The Aussie teams are competing well enough to justify Perth's admission, but the other spot should have goen to a PI team or the Argies.

Ha! Atleast the Blues wont have Tuitupou so they'll improve this week.

Agree even a jap team would have been nice to see. Its the SANZA old boys club making sure they are looking after their patch rather than seeing what potiental may have come from including one of the above teams.

I actually thought the same about a Jap team, sure it would be mostly imports but then so will the Perth side. The only real problem with a Japanese team would be that the HUGE travel times from SA and the fact that it would be summer in Japan, but I wouldn't be surprised if they had covered stadiums that would take care of the latter. If the S12/S14 really wants to go big they should look at a comp with maybe 4 each from NZ, SA and Aus, and 1 each from PI, Arg and Japan. But SANZAR would never have the balls to do something like that, they'd rather just prop up the local ratings with anbother useless SA team and more Tri nations rounds (the 6 match series gets boring ever year, how bad is 9 games going to be?!)
