I remember Penrith looking like runaway February premiers in the 2005 season.

Broke both of Brett Finch's hands in a trial too.

Most disappointing season of the NRL era IMO.

Aside from 2010 being fun it was a pretty bleak 8 years after it too.

You get some sense about player form. I watched Petro on 'debut' in a trial against Newcsstle years ago and he was an absolute gun.

Likewise Metcalf for the Warriors has them looking good in attack. His fitness will be key to their chances of making the 8 this year.

Super overhyped hooker that wasn't good enough to play hooker in our junior system so got shuffled around into the pack and halves.
The kid should have stuck to cricket

It is a shame Arthur was let go.

Smith is in that zone where he doesn't really have a position. Got to big for hooker but not tall enough to play in the pack, maybe can become a decent enough 14

I'm not booking grand final tickets just yet. But confident of finals footy.
Off seasons gone fast. I enjoy a break from the footy. It makes it more exciting when returns.
Question. Of the 4 peat which grand final win did you enjoy most?
I'd say Brisbane was the best game by a margin. Id say Storm was the best side you beat with your weakest side and that 2022 forget who you played by memory was close. Was that the golden point win? but yeah that was your best side.
