You pitiless piece of shit!
Are you aware of the apartheid like treatment against rugby league in many countries around the world!? This in itself is a travesty of natural sporting justice and you come up with that!
You piece of shit!

They have every right to do what they like and RL has every right to respond...

RU took their advantages where they saw them and RL didnt, simple as that. RU associated with some f*cked up people and their sport went gangbusters. RL could have made RU pay for associating with Vicky and SA Apartheid, but we didnt.

You can sit their whinging about Natural justice all you like. Morals arent some abstract, universal concept, "Right and Wrong" is just what each person decides it is. No one is going to enforce it for you though; if youre not gonna stand up for your own rights then no one will.

The world doesnt owe RL anything. RL had its chaces and let them past or f*cked them up through infighting. Dont pretend anyone else is responsible, RL is where it is because of its own inaction....

Bullshit ! No other football code has the establishment based bias against it as rugby league had and has ! When the sport cannot be recognised by a government as a sport is amazing in itself. The lack of action from rugby league people whom know of this repression is a factor, however the initial biggotry is straight from big brother union doing its utmost to stop a superior version of rugby. Unsportsmanlike conduct to the highest degree. You don't just shrug shoulders at that calculated and unfair reality. It needs to be exposed , shamed and addressed.

Shear lunacy.

No wonder our educational system is gone to shit

Lol. As a former rugby league player/allround sportsman I have a fair idea of what demographic I'm discoursing with. Quite appropriate for your delicate 'ears' . I might add to turn a blind eye to what rugby league had encountered over many decades is not a good reflection in being a fan/supporter of rugby league. And the repression is still occuring! Apathy will get you nowhere. Acknowledging, learning and appropriately acting on this unfairness is far more real for all concerned. That is if you really care for this great code?!

I reckon a "faster, safer, more inclusive version of Gridiron" would be more a valuable pitch....

Disagree. We shouldn't be entering the American marker with a view to conquer it; thatd be unrealistic and arrogant and thats exactly what that pitch conveys.

Also disagree based on the American view that everything that's American is bound to be better. Challenging them with that view would just piss them off and shoot the sport down.

Top 4 markets in the USA:

1. New York
2. Los Angeles
3. Chicago
4. Houston

New York will soon have a pro rugby league team coached by Mick Potter of Catalans fame.

I think marketing RL in USA and Canada by drawing parallels between the games would work so it doesn't seem totally alien and foreign to them (we know how much Yanks love Aliens and foreigners lol). You could have footage of big hits from both sports, skilful weaving running, hard running bursting through players, scoring celebrations etc. from Gridiron and rugby league.

Something along the lines of, "we know you love your big hits, tough defence and amazing athletes, we're taking it to a whole new league" Rugby League - feel the game
