we seem to struggle with 2 games in 4 days, we are just not physically mature enough yet

I guess that happens with such a young team

missed Moose big time

Massively missed Dembele, really hope he's back on Saturday. As long as the hammers beat Arsenal in a few weeks this result is ok!!!

yeh Moose is supposed to be back on the weekend, could have played this morning but didn't want to risk him

Bentilab really seems to be on the outer atm, wasn't even on the bench

What an absolute waste. Biggest European game in years and we send out a second string line up. Really pissed off about this.

I think Poch thought he could get away with a second string team to park the bus like we did against Fiorentina away, then steamroll them at home. Problem is, we dont park the bus, our game is to press.

This team was the weakest team we have named all year against one of the strongest oppositions. He really showed BD no respect.

Personally I dont give a shit about Europa considering it has such a huge affect on our immature squad when we back up 3 days later and play shit in the PL. I think given our position in the PL that should be our priority right now. We can worry about Europe next year, assuming we get there.

I think we would do better in concentrating on the PL now and finishing as high as we can and looking to get some mature age depth to enable us to be competitive in UCL next season as currently we have the youngest team in Europe and our depth is coming from 18 to 19 year old and they are not ready yet.

Fair enough he wants to rest players, I generally just didn't understand the team or tactics. If the plan was to park the bus, why was Mason and Carroll midfield? Both of them have no defensive abilities at all.

I know Bentaleb is on the outer but he would have been a better option.

I dunno, frustrating.

Mason and Carroll would be the smallest possible midfield we could come up with and like you say Bentelab would have been a better option defensively but for some reason he has slid down the pecking order.

If we are going to be competitive in UCL, we need some serious depth, not what we have now. Ali and Dier didn't even make the trip but they are 19 and 20 respectively and probabaly our first choice mids.

I think what Poch has done is show that the PL is his priority which I completely agree with.

geez its a shame Coco was not fit for this, Son really is struggling to fit into the PL although he is a decent player we really missed missed Lamela's creative input

Was a fairly even game, both sides were dreadful at one point tho with the amount of times the ball was given away. Think we had slighty few more chances but failed to capitalise. Think 1-1 draw a fair result tho given the way the match flowed.

Kane is just a sniper at the moment. I knew if we gave him even half a chance that he'd bury something and he didn't disappoint. England/Hodgson have absolute rocks in their heads if they go with Rooney over Harry at the Euros. Lloris is also so important to you guys. He's everything I wish Migs could be, great shot stopper, excellent distribution and actually sets up the defence in front of him at set pieces. Made a couple really good saves.

Good luck for the run home.
