If someone said to me you'd finish 2nd in the EPL this season, I go wow yep Id take it thinking we've finished behind one of City, Chelsea, Arsenal or Man U

It's a strange season for sure. I'm torn between being stoked we're coming 2nd, and really disappointed we're second behind only Leicester.

Still, so many enjoyable moments and games this year. Playing really attractive football.

Eriksen is on fire at the moment, he had it on a string last night.

Alderwereld should be playing for Barca or Bayern, he would be close to the best defender in the world surely.

He is a beast, played every game this year and never injured.

I think he is our only player who has never missed a game.

I see Leicester crumbling without Vardy.

It will all come down to your away game at Chelsea. That's a HUGE game as they'll be up for it.

I think you need to win out to win the title and that's the tough one.

You're definitely set for a few years at the top. Great to see someone different up there!

So I'm hearing this guy is ours for next season and a lot of reports out of France are saying he's already signed.

We tried to sign him in January and have been talking to him ever since and apparently its all agreed. He was very expensive (40 mill euros).

Its all hearsay but even Poch was quoted as saying we are very interested in him and have been talking to him for months and that was only 2 days ago.

Sounds positive.

To take a silver lining from that, really highlighted the need for some back up players. If we had cruised through the end of the season with our first XI the club wouldn't have realised how desperately we need some new players.

I really hope Bentaleb can get back to his old form.

Yeh I dont think there is any doubt now that we need back up for Moose, whereas 3 weeks ago we didn't.

We're looking for a CH, LWF and DM but I think we can add CM to that now or we wont last long in UCL.

That said there was no excuse for the lack of effort and desire in that second half, that was just rubbish and not reflective of how we have been playing all year.

Faz and Yedlin will be off but we could now see Mason and Carroll go and perhaps even Bentelab, I know he is injured but once you've had a run in with Poch you dont come back, as Andros found out.

Bentelab had a bit of a sook when he didn't get his spot back after he got over his injury, we were never gonna drop Moose or Alli but he thought he deserved a go and when he eventually got a run he did jackshit but its hard to set the world on fire first game back.

Wait and see I guess.
