Tottenham Hotspur: "To Dare Is To Do" II

Incorrect.. Big time incorrect..

There are numerous examples of it.

It's frustrating more than anything, such a talent, determined to be like Suarez it seems.

It's not envy, it's fact.

I hope he gets past the diving thing, your bias clouds your view it seems.

I'm not biased against him Twizzle, i like watching him play. I don't like seeing him dive though and hope he gets past it as i have said a few times now.

He's improved a lot since he got suspended for too many yellow cards. Example A was the other night when he got up after being fouled, previously he would have rolled around for a few minutes.

Seems to have toned it all down a lot, which is good.

I remember when he dove last year to get the penalty at Arsenal, as soon as we got the penalty for it I knew the football gods were going to get us!

As a Man United fan I have to say a good amount of Bales "dives" weren't dives at all. Guy travels so fast when he is in full flight the smallest amount if contact will send him down. He def has been guilty of it a few times but not as much as the cheating scum Suarez.

I'm glad some one else said that because if a Spurs fan has that opinion we get accused of bias.

As a 23 year old kid he seems to struggle with his overnight success the amount of attention he gets from opposition players and I think he is now learning how to deal with it better.

He's a pretty humble kid who's on about 100K a week at Spurs and his attitude is he wants to help Spurs achieve and maintain a high level of success and continual CL footy.

Truth be told he could get double that elsewhere.

theres been a couple where i reckon he just jumps out of the way not to get thumped in a tackle.

not really trying to get a foul just avoiding potential injury.

anyway, is Bale Is Good

No-one goes down quicker or more often than Suarez. Well, I guess the scouse fans probably would if they could get close enough...

Are Spurs fans ready for us? Confident? We're on a streak of good results and we're climbing the table. We'll finish up 2nd or 3rd. I actually hope Spurs finish in 4th ahead of Chelsea.

Bullshit. If it was that he'd get up immediately. Most of those occasions he jumps out of the way to avoid a tackle and then acts like he has a broken leg.

Yes I acknowledge he is diving much less recently and he is far from the only one who does dive. And I wish everyone got as much attention for it as he does.

Arsenal on a streak haha that's cute, only two teams are unbeaten in 2013 and we are one of them. It'll be continued come Sunday aswell, very confident

always good to win a NLD but I thought we should have scored more and could have converted more opportunities than we did but we'll take it

nice to see the passion shown by the players as well

Yeah, will take the 3 points but that was a very average performance tbh. Nearly put my foot thru the telly when Ade made that stupid tackle.

Anyway, on the home stretch now!

although they are all teams below us, I tend to agree

I just wish we had Sandro available and a half decent striker

Hopefully Dembele isn't out for any amount of games, he's crucial at the moment. Defoe looked better then Ade (not saying much) and will be the starter for the big games from now on I'd say.

You never know with Defoe, he could get hot and go on a scoring run, like he did at the start of the year when he was carrying us. But he could also go on a barren run like he was before he got injured.

Will be interesting to see what team we put out against Inter, we have a massive game at Liverpool a few days after and I think we should play some of our reserves.

Give Dembele a rest, regardless of his injury, and I'd also take out Walker, Ade, and possibly Parker too. Dare I say it, we may also need to rest Bale for a game soon....

Good thing is we have a bit of decent depth this year with players like Dempsey Sig Holtby.
