Get a deadly finisher on board + a second crack at someone like Moutinho and you'll challenge for the top

he really has risen to new heights, I never ever expected him to be this good

5 goals in 3 games from the left wing and he just keeps doing it

word is he will go to Real once Ronny boy leaves, probably for PSG as not too many people can afford him, but Ronny boy has said he will see out his contract with Real till 2015, so hopefully we keep him for a while yet and Levy will not sell to an EPL team

Bale has also been quoted as saying he will not leave if we are playing CL but money talks

and we need a striker more than we need another midfielder, Ade was pathetic this morning and Defoe is out for another month, I cant believe we are surviving with just one very average striker

Holtby is also looking to be the buy of the season for 1.5 mill, we are such a more attacking team when Dempsey gets replaced by Holtby every game, problem is its only for 15 minutes

I really dont understand why Dempsey starts ahead of Holtby

Dempsey/Adebayor have turned out to be terrible buys, I agree with Holtby. Hopefully we clean the front line up a bit in the summer, with a few outs.

While my tune would change if Sir Alex head-hunted Bale, I honestly hope you guys keep him, and can build a decent team around him. Would much rather compete for the title with you lot than any of the current contenders.

Holtby is definitely quality. The jury is still out about whether AVB can cut it at a big team, but I don't think you can doubt his scouting abilities.

If I was Levy/AVB I'd target Dzeko... he'd bang them in left right and centre on the end of Bale

I think any half decent striker would prosper on the end of Bale's current form.
