As much as I talk shit about Soldado, his last few seasons in Spain show he's obviously a decent player. Eventually he'll start scoring goals.

Soldado reminds me of Torres these days. Good around the park and sets up teammates well, but for some reason has lost his finishing ability. Frustrating.

Karma does exist, lol at Theo

If you mean what I think you mean it can hardly be described as karma since the injury happened BEFORE the sign to the crowd. Also I think that harmless act is hardly deserving of a season ending injury. Throwing coins at him is much worse than him pointing out the score.

Any player who insights the crowd can't be excused, these guys are professional athletes and like it or not role models for young kids. The coins were only thrown as a result of his antics(no excuse for this either) however from his actions a steward or himself could or been seriously injured.

Maybe karma isn't the best choice of words and I'm not the first person to wish ill health on a player but most opposition supporters wouldn't help but smile after his gesture and now outcome

Walcott is responsible for his actions, no more and no less. Yes in an ideal world he wouldn't have done anything but that sign is all he is responsible for, the people throwing coins are not robots, they are not mindless slaves, they have freewill. They used that freewill.

There is talk of lifebans if the cointhrowers are caught.

Let's be honest the chance of those fans receiving life bans is about as likely as the FA fining Walcott

Theo didn't incite them, they were already acting like animals before he was carried off.
After that he did exactly what Bale did last season and reminded them of the score that was being shown on the screen for all to see.

So your saying Theo would of still received the thrown coins without his gesture?

You seem to think the spuds fans were just twiddling their thumbs as Walcott was receiving treatment in front of them.

It did get worse after the 2-0 gesture, but Walcott was reacting not inciting as you suggested.

Walcott was carried off on a stretcher after jarring his knee when making a tackle during the closing stages - and subsequently pelted by objects thrown from the away end.
The Arsenal forward responded with '2-0' hand gesture in the direction of the 5,000-strong away section, as missiles, including coins and plastic bottles, were seen to hit medical staff as they carried the stretcher around to the tunnel

Mark Clattenburg has included the shameful scenes at the Emirates in his referee's report after Tottenham supporters showered Arsenal's Theo Walcott with coins.
The FA will examine video footage of the incident involving Walcott, who was pelted as he made an innocuous gesture indicating the score while being carried round the perimeter track.
Walcott, out for up to four weeks with a knee injury, was by the side of the pitch waiting for a stretcher when Spurs fans, angry at their team's 2-0 surrender, began hurling coins, a lighter, a water bottle and a bread roll at him

?The doctor said coins were raining over his head while he was treating Theo [on the pitch] and he had to protect him,? said Arsene Wenger, ?maybe that is why he did that.? The Arsenal manager added: ?If the FA judge is it offensive what can I do but I don't think he will be in trouble. What he did was not offensive. He does not look aggressive, he is smiling.?

I take it you've never been to a sporting event where fans have given verbal abuse to a player on the field. These kind of incidents(eg coin throwing or any other object thrown onto the pitch) in 99.9% of cases are a direct result of the player in-sighting like it or not. Without the gesture the objects arent thrown pain and simple.

I'll take the word of the medical staff who were at the ground over some spud fan on an internet forum making up statistics.

A few incidents come to mind that contradict your "statistic"

The bananas being thrown by racist fans at African players around Europe the last few years

Coins being thrown at Jamie Lyon by Parra fans

Spurs fan running onto the field trying to KO Frank Lampard after a FA cup match

I even remember an Arsenal fan throwing a banana at Bale when he was taking a corner at WHL

That's just from the top of my head

We could go around in circles on this and I could also bring up numerous occasions supporting my argument aswell, guess we'll just beg to differ.

Also nice to know you have a close relationship the Arsenal medical staff, didn't realise they also monitored crowd behaviour, that initial point was totally irrelevant to this argument. I think you mean they were hit by coins, yes they were. I saw it and didn't like that either

Sherwood doesn't seem to.

One of the hangovers of the AVB regime is way too many AMs as that suited his formations but he played way too many players out of position, TS generally plays a 442 so some are missing out even though we have a huge injury list.

Holtby, Siggy, Bentilab, Paulinho, Lamela, Eriksen, Chadli and now Soldado has been moved to 10. On top of that Carroll is being recalled from loan.

I dont think there will be any movement other than a few outgoing loans till we know whats happening with our manager at the end of this season. It all depends on how TS goes till the end of this season but wouldn't surprise me if he does well be still gets replaced and retained as technical director and LVG comes in after the WC.
