Good performance, solid without being spectacular.

Aside from Kaboul's red-card (ouch) and Palacios first-half woes, I thought we were pretty good.

Modric, Lennon, and even Jenas when he came on were all terrorising Newcastle throughout the whole game.

You could just sense Lennon's goal coming on, cracker of a goal, but Modric and Bale team up to score surely one of the most outstanding goals of the month (even year).
Gareth is a magician!!!

Some of our play was brilliant to watch, and it's great that we finally have a clean-sheet!

Sweet goal from Bale, nice transition from defense to attack.

Stupid red from Kaboul. It was almost like Tiote goaded him into it.

I would take Beckham with open arms, sure the obvious benefits is the marketing he would provide to our club - we are a big enough club as it is though - but he would provide a tonne of experience and confidence to our team. He could also make starring contributions for us on the field.

On the Fulham game....we were terrible :( Fulham at the very least should have drawn. How they didn't win is beyond me. We will take it though, it shows how well we are going that even on one of our bad days we still can take the three points.

He's not there to break into our first 11.

I read an article this morning where Harry said Bently is injured every Friday morning (when they pick the teams), basically he makes himself unavailable but he trains OK during the week. He will be off this month and Spice Boy is his replacement as our second string right winger behind Aaron Lennon.

And he will sell shirts.

Not fussed that we lost to Everton. We have been unbeaten in 12 games in all competitions, plus this was our fourth game in eleven days. Not fussed at all considering we won the other three games in those eleven days.

Still......Chelsea losing, Arsenal and ManCity in a draw? Was a perfect opportunity for us to catch the top three and stave off Chelsea.

it was a golden opportunity but credit to Everton, they outplayed us in the midfield

probably the quietest game that VDV and Modric had all season

good audition from Pienar tho, his next game could be in a Spurs jumper, it certainly highlighted how our midfield can carry us, Lenon, Bale, VDV and Modders have been our backbone, but there is daylight between them and Jenas and Palacios.

Looks like Sandro will go out o loan to get some EPL experience, he's still only 20.

Missing Huddlestone big time. I can see now why harry is chasing another midfielder.

Also further highlights our need for a decent striker.

On the upside this couldn't have happened at a better time, harry has quite a few on the shopping list and plenty of bikkies in the tin.

You need a left back.

If your going to play Crouch or Pav upfront then Becks would easily get into your team. Lennon is fast but isn't very good a putting his head up and picking a cross. Bale crossing from one side, Becks from the other with VDV/Defoe (when fit) sniffing around knock downs seems like your best bet.

I still hope he comes home to OT though.

yeh, I agree, we have no back up for BAE, if he's out Bale goes back to LB which hurt us last time this happened.

Looks like Spice Boy is done and Harry particularly wants him for his crossing ability and thinks he may also be able to help Lennon and Bale develop.

Not sure about Pav, been reading that Pav and even Palacios are being shopped around as we have our eye on upgrades.

Suarez is 7/4 to join Spurs at Sportsbet, but Harry doesn't want him, thinks we can do better, Levy has already done a deal but we're waiting to see if we can do better. If we sign him it will be in the 11th hour due to other seals not coming off.

Bentley gone to Birmingham on loan, with a buy out of 9mill in the summer.

How the f**k we got 9mill for him is beyond me, he never plays and we only ended up paying about 6mill for him as he only played two EPL games in his first year with us.

Good business I guess but there is also a worry about Birmingham's ability to honour the deal.
