for all I know Levy may have pulled his head in and the fact that he is off to Porto tells me that he has outgoings that we dont know about

I dont know all the ins and outs but I reckon we'll see alot of movement at the last minute

here's hoping anyway

and Levy is talking with Falcao, not Hulk, and the trip is apparently to wrap up a deal as they have also spoken over the phone previously,

doesn't mean it will get done tho

Robbie Keane has gone to LA to play with Spice Boy who has apparently signed up for another year.

Although its only €3 million for us Robbie was on the top tier of match payments, about €70K a week under an old contract from about 4 or 5 years ago.

This will free up some decent wages for us. This is good news.

nope

things will move soon, we've given one player a deadline to make up his mind, think that maybe Giovanni

news leaking our re Diarra, we agreed to all terms and conditions with the player, Levy just left out one small thing, like the transfer fee, they want 18mill and we offered 8mill

could still be done on a loan depending on how many players we shift, if we shift enough then we'll probably up our offer

Ade been offered to Marseille and Spurs, he wants us and not french footy but Citeh want him to play outside the epl as you would expect and he is refusing to go to Marseille which sort of puts us in the drivers seat

We're still looking to do business in Germany, not sure who, possibly a defender but we have also tabled an offer for Cahill in the last 24 hours

Everything depends on our outgoings, Crouch and Palacios were at the Stoke game on the weekend so that looks like a goer, Dos Santos is the other big money outgoing so alot hinges on him

I other words, nothing but gossip.

Watch this space.

looks like we could have Ade in before the ManU game on Monday night, not sure of he'd be fit enough to play though

That would be massive. If he isn't fully fit, I would have him on the bench and inject him late in the game. He is top quality, and would make a big difference to our forward line. Defoe hitting form would also help.

On that note, which striker do you expect to start against ManU? Defoe is our best striker but I have no idea how well he performed in pre-season.

I also saw in the Chelsea thread that the local press in Portugal think Falcao is off to Chelsea; didn't Levy have a meeting with him recently?

I'll take Adebeyor, Samba and Cahill thanks.

Not sure that we need Diarra?

Got big hopes with Defoe this year, he's looked sharp from what I've seen from him lately.

we wont get Samba and Cahill, possibly one or the other or Serda Tasci who currently plays for Stuttgart

Diarra is expected as Sandro is injured, as is a wider attacking player, Afellay or Ruiz or similar, a few names being mentioned but they are the targets.

Also expect another smaller striker to play off Ade.

As usual we are waiting to shift players as we are currently one over our squad limit of 15. Crouch wont go to Stoke but Fulham have just made an offer. When he goes we expect a another striker in.

Having said that I know not to get my hopes up any more.

We'll just wait and see what happens.

The biggest news appears to be Levy V. Harry, my guess is that Harry wont be with us next season, so much so that Levy is allegedly running some of our transfers past harry's one of successors, and this seems to have nothing to do with whether Harry coaches England or not.

as f**king usual, harry isn't sure

no surprise there

when he is sure he just says they want overs and wont agree to a transfer fee or wages, he just doesn't think like a top 4 manager for mine

yeh, its been done and should be announced pretty soon

they may have just about agreed on Diarra as well as our only fit midfielder is VDV atm, we have Sandro, Modric, JJ, Huddlestone and Palacios all injured atm for the Hearts Europa game in the morning

Livermore will probably make his debut on the bench with Nikko in cm

So a tonne of injuries again? Hell I'd be willing to lose to Hearts if it meant missing out on Europa League, we need to focus on the Premier League and get back in the Champions League. Just my opinion though.
