more of a chance of signing Parker tbh if we are to believe the latest gossip, doesn't really inspire me though

we seem to be stock piling midfielders like Citeh are stock piling strikers

What's the point in signing a player like that on loan? Highly doubt he will be in our first team, fair enough if we sign him but loan is a bit pointless.

Redknapp apparently believes the Diarra deal is still on, and we have also made bids for Joe Cole and Leandro according to the papers. How much is true?

Parker and Diarra yes

Joe Cole no

Leandro may be coming now instead of January as we are putting in another bid right now and Internationale said they are prepared to do a deal now if they get the right offer, his current form has been red hot averaging about 1.3 goals per game.

he's only 20, loan with a view to signing next season if he progresses

he'll be used in Europa and the cups

Just on Europa we got a pretty easy draw as we are seeded No 1 which is pretty good seeing who got knocked out of CL footy

EUROPA LEAGUE GROUP STAGE DRAW
Group A: TOTTENHAM, Rubin Kazan, PAOK Salonika, SHAMROCK ROVERS

Group B: FC Copenhagen, Standard Liege, Hannover, Vorskla Poltava

Group C: PSV Eindhoven, Hapoel Tel-Aviv, Rapid Bucharest, Legia Warsaw

Group D: Sporting Lisbon, Lazio, FC Zurich, FC Vaslui

Group E: Dynamo Kiev, Besiktas, STOKE, Maccabi Tel-Aviv

Group F: Paris St Germain, Athletic Bilbao, Salzburg, Slovan Bratislava

Group G: AZ Alkmaar, Metalist Kharkiv, Austria Vienna, Malmo

Group H: Braga, Club Brugge, BIRMINGHAM, Maribor

Group I: Atletico Madrid, Udinese, Rennes, Sion

Group J: Schalke, Steaua Bucharest, Maccabi Haifa, AEK Larnaca

Group K: FC Twente, FULHAM, Odense, Wisla Krakow

Group L: Anderlecht, AEK Athens, Lokomotiv Moscow, Sturm Graz

There are some big names in there: Atletico, Shalke, PSG, Lazio to name but a few.

PSG probably the team to beat as they have spent up big time

We could end up signing any one of Lassana Diarra, Scott Parker and Leandro Dimiao? Or all three? He'll yes!!!! Let's hope.

at this stage I would suggest there is more than a 50/50 chance of all 3, Diarra has done a Levy on Levy and moved the goal posts and changed his wage demands, also rumours that a CL team is also in with a late bid but doesn't match ours

then there is some mystery player we are signing, or trying to sign but no one at the club knows who it is, its been kept very hush hush as they dont want any other team to come in with a higher bid, supposedly some marquis player that wont be signed till the last day of the window (so the gossip goes)

Wow, that's awesome. That mystery player signing thing sounds like the Willie Tonga situation all over again....this will be an interesting couple of days.

That mystery player was on the radar during the last transfer window but since then has gone quiet, hopefully it eventuate as for the others doesn't bother me if they come or not Ade was the main one we required

So no idea as to who it might be? If they are keeping it secretive it must be a big name. And I think all three of those players would be massive buys; Leandro is a future star and would flourish alongside Adebayor/Defoe, Parker is a great player and Diarra is a pretty good player as well, both of them would hugely strengthen our already formidable midfield.

I watched the Adebayor interview on the Spurs site, he looks calm and cheerful as always :) I think he will prove to be a massive signing. Just curious, will we be moving to make the move permanent at the end of the year?
