r yes last trip to Upton Park produced one of the great games of last season lets hope this one will be just as good with a similar result

Given the context in which the season was quickly unfolding for West Ham at that time i don't recall thinking that game was all that great.. It was about that time i started to lose a bit of faith that we would survive the drop..

After a combined tally of 9 goals to 0 produced by the two sides last game we might be in for some entertainment... Imagine what we might score with some actual strikers on the field

Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr Defoe

Jermain Defoe missed an injury-time penalty as Spurs were forced to settle for a point at the striker's old club West Ham.

Spurs started brightly, but the Hammers took the lead against the run of play as Carlton Cole finished off a move started by a howler from Younes Kaboul.

Spurs were denied what looked a clear penalty late in the first half when Rob Green tripped Robbie Keane, but the visitors did get on level terms as Michael Dawson rose highest to head hom off the crossbar.

Both sides chased the victory before the late penalty drama looked to have given Spurs their first away win of the season.

But Green had other ideas.

Lol @ a clear penalty..

Geeze spurs are whinging merkins.. Keane carrie on like a complete twat after that. Not only was he off side but he went to ground far to easily despite only touching the foot of green while he was in mid air. The off side call was wrong, the no penalty call was correct and despite trying to deflect all the criticism onto the ref Keane should have put that in the net first time..

True mind you there was a another clear incorrect offside call in the 2nd half on Bent when he woulda had a one on one with Green, mind you we blew it again suppose before the game we'd take a point from behind

my thoughts exactly

I would have taken a point if it were on offer before the game, but after watching it, it was disappointing not to get a win

I cant really criticise Defoe, it was a brilliant save from Green so credit to him

still undefeated under Ramos

Apparently we had a good crack at Riquelme (spelling), but he and his family wanted to go home, so he signed with Boca.

Would have been a great signing.

there are still some optimists saying he's taking the round the world trip to WHL in January as there is no transfer window atm

LEDLEY KING played 45 minutes for Spurs reserves last night — and was rewarded with an ice bath!

Tottenham are taking no chances with the fitness of the England star (left), who has not played for them since mid-April when he needed knee surgery.

He and Portuguese defender Ricardo Rocha returned to action in the 1-0 defeat at Fulham last night. Both came off at the break with the score 0-0.

Could be the best news you'll get all season.
