If Toulouse and Celtic are both admitted, being both in 09 or not, they had better start thinking about changing the name of the competition. ESL is always going to head in a European direction and many years down the track I'd imagine there will be a team each in Scotland, Ireland, Wales, London + a few northerns, Toulouse, Perpinya, Lyon and possibly a Dutch team or Paris. Something along the lines of the H Cup in XV.

There is no such thing as the ESL that's just something the uneducated Australian media call it, the competition is and has been known as the Rugby Super League for a few years now.

By the way ESL stood for European Super League not English.

The initials ESL are now used, and although the uninformed Australia media think that the letters stand for English Super League, in fact they stand for Engage Super League ("Engage" being the sponsor).
