Well done, the 70-0 thrashing at Widnes seems a distant memory now. In fact I would be bold enough to suggest that if the 2 played again next week Toulouse would be favorites.

Great crowd aswell.

Widness copped a spanking from Barrow on friday too.

Barrow v Toulouse in Toulouse in 2 weeks... should be a cracker.

French newcomers Toulouse climbed into the Co-operative Championship play-off places with a 38-12 victory over Whitehaven.

Toulouse raced into the lead courtesy of converted tries from Damien Couturier Constant Villegas and Rory Bromley.

Nathan Wynn, who converted all three first-half efforts, also hit a penalty.

Tane Mariher crossed the whitewash for the visitors with Graeme Mattinson adding the extras to leave the scores 20-6 at the interval.

A further three goals from Wynn and touchdowns from Eric Anselme, Villegas and Mathieu Griffi put Whitehaven to the sword.

They did manage a converted try one minute from time when Ade Adebisi scored but it proved little more than a consolation.
