Flacco's deal is $6.5m this year, 7.9m next year with it really jumping in year 3 or 4 to like $20m at which point they'll re-structure you would think.

Will Allen to the Cowboys, Steelers have now lost both their back up safeties, losing Allen is a bit of a loss, Mundy not so much. This just confirms a safety will be taken quite early in the draft with a view to starting in 2014 with Ryan Clark probably gone and maybe Polamalu too.

With players who are better too imo.

Huff is as good as Reed at this point of their careers and Dumervil is a massive upgrade on Kruger.

Now if they draft a safety in this draft where there is quality available and somehow find a MLB then they'll be in a good position on defense.

Remember they also get Ladarius Webb back this year...that's like a new signing.

They also have to replace Birk. That'll be a bigger loss than most imagine. It's why I'm kind of forecasting Jones from Alabama to them at #32.

Yea the Ravens have had a nice come back in FA with those signings

Im not as high on Huff as Mick is, but he'll be ok there. Their biggest issue is the leadership vacuum that needs to stop on D... they've still got Ngata and Suggs, but Lewis and Reed were THE guys on that D. It will be interesting to see how they respond under adversity without them those guys to get them amped.

. Doubt we go jones at 32 bigger need at ilb or lt plus we have Gino Gradkowski to play C will probably add a centre late in the draft for some depth.

For some reason the bleacher report app on my phone woke me up really early this morning to inform me of Tony Romo's new 6 year, $108 million dollar deal with $55 mil guaranteed. I was laughing so hard I couldn't get back to sleep

I thought that was funny too. People are talking bout how Flacco got paid to much at least he can win when it counts lol. Looks like we got a good deal with Flacco.

With that sort of money, the pressure is going to be on Romo to not only get the Cowboys to the playoffs but to win them a Super Bowl. It's more money then I and just about everyone else expected him to receive.

Palmer to Arizona for a late round pick.
McCoy and a 6th to San Fran for 5th and 7th.

is that colt mccoy? i thought the whiners were gonna get someone more like gonzo to be their backup qb so they wouldn''t have to change the gameplan if gonzo went down. mccoy couldn''t be more different, slow with a noodle arm.

Palmer trade has hit a snag apparently, it's a nail biter of a story!

Best quote I've seen
"This QB market reminds me of the time I put loose trash by my curb, then bought stuff at my neighbor's yard sale."
