Robinson has to be in the starting pack. Very under rated, and a very good defencive player. Considering that defence is something that has become so weak at parra, you would wanna be stacking the team up with solid defenders.

8.Cayless
9.Riddell
10.Stringer
11.Hindmarsh
12.Robinson
13.Morrison

A very experianced and solid forward pack. Not to mention a bunch of workaholics.

Wagon needs to be there like it or not. Great defensive player and can take some of the load off Hindy.

8 Cayless
9 Riddell
10 Cannings
11 Hindy
12 Morrison
13 Wagon

14 Utility
15 Widders
16 Robinson/Stringer(when not injured)
17 Vella

I have a feeling Cannings wont get an immediate start but he will have a shot before the end of the year. Vella is quite good off the bench but he willmost probably start.

Not at the start of the season. Maybe later on. Widders is a great player and if he hasnt put on weight Smith will name him in the side.

Widders is a good player, But Mateo is ready he did very well against the storm. His time has come I hope he gets a good go in the Trials.

So do I. I feel sorry for Mateo he was 18th man so many times and I felt he deserved a bit more of a go then he got. His one for the future IMO. But he wont take Wagons place and if Marsh is our half then I see this as Mateos only chance at a spot
6 Morris
7 Marsh
9 Riddell
14 Mateo

When Riddell comes off Morris to hooker with Mateo to 5/8. I think thats his only way into the side. :?

I'm hoping that they are doing lots of defense training.

They used to be inpenetratable but that has slipped in the last couple of seasons (obviously)

Anyone know when Tahu will be training?
His defence scares me. I hope Smithy and Rocket can help him sort something out in that depatrment.

as good as Mateo "might" be or "could" be in the near future, Dean Widders has proven himslef as a winning "gamebreaker" and offers something completely different in attack in the forwards and can play in the centres too.....Deano for me

with the versatility of both Widdo and Mateo, there's no harm in having them 14 and 15 respectively then chuck in a couple of big boofheads on the bench.

Who wouldnt. We all know of his potential but when your playing with niggling injuries he does all he can do. On his day he can match it with the best.

At the moment I'm thinking season start will see:
8 Cayless
9 Riddell
10 Stringer
11 Hindmarsh
12 Morrison
13 Wagon

Then:
Vella/Robinson/Cannings
Widders/Mateo
Tsoulos/Peek
Afagasama/H Perenara
Cordoba etc in that order

Looks good - IF the props go 200% better than this year. Robinson and Stringer plus injury free Cayless and Cannings should help.
