Just out of interest does the womens NRL comp have any trans players at the current time?
This seems like a solution in search of a problem.
How many trans players were pushing for selection in this weeks matches? Exactly zero.
There are approximately 100 trans women in the entire country, according to the latest census. How many of them play rugby league at a professional level? None.
Why do something this divisive just before the international weekend when there was absolutely no need to? Rugby league can’t half shoot itself in the foot sometimes.
Dude that was in 2016. You could probably multiply that by 50 now that it's the in thingThere are approximately 100 trans women in the entire country, according to the latest census. How many of them play rugby league at a professional level? None.
RL often get criticised for being short-sighted - only reacting, and not being at the forefront of change before something occurs. They are very knee-jerk reaction based... think of the amount of rule changes put into play as certain play styles change, or players are coached to take advantage of certain situations. This seems like a solution in search of a problem.

Mods I need a safe space!The 'in' thing. Christ you're a dickhead.
i know a woman who has basically railroaded her young son into wearing dresses, make-up, playing with feminine toys.... i have no doubt she will strongly encourage him to have the hormone treatment when he's old enough... i feel very, very sorry for the kid. It's pure child abuse and a form of gaslighting. There is a trend out there...
Allowing your male child to partake in activities or clothing normally associated with girls doesn't mean you're trying to change their gender nor are you abusing the child. Both of you are as stupid as you are bigoted.i know a woman who has basically railroaded her young son into wearing dresses, make-up, playing with feminine toys.... i have no doubt she will strongly encourage him to have the hormone treatment when he's old enough... i feel very, very sorry for the kid. from what i've witnessed its a little more than just "allowing", there is more going on...Trans people are heavily discriminated against (just look at this thread) no one is racing to jump on some 'trans bandwagon' what absolute idiocy. Yes there are more people coming out as trans because it has become slightly more acceptable and safe in doing so, that doesn't make it a trend.
