The Tigers made the three-time premiership winner a priority after releasing rising star Tallyn Da Silva to the Eels and with Koroisau now committed to the club, this masthead understands that they have now set their sights on Queensland under-19 five-eighth Javon Andrews.
Andrews, on the books at the Gold Coast Titans, starred for the Maroons in their State of Origin win earlier this year after overcoming a serious spinal injury that threatened his future early in his career.

The Tigers have now emerged as a potential home as they look to strengthen their own spine in the wake of Koroisau’s retention and the possible departure of Adam Doueihi, who has a one year offer on the table from the club but is exploring his options elsewhere
.

Some of Andrews highlights from the Origin U19 looked impressive, layed on the final try with a nice kick into the in goal then iced the kick from the sideline to win the game. I'd say this points towards Doueihi leaving as Andrews looks like a direct replacement.

It’s unequivocal AD is leaving due to appointing the demonic oxygen thief as his manager

Can't find too much about him, but was on our books a few years ago.

I wonder who misses out. I think it'll be Skelton but maybe To'a. They are both first graders.

Staines won't make it and apart from last week he has been good for us.
Skelton & Toa are both shit defenders from the same mould as Nofa & Naiqama & umpteen other imbecilic outside backs that have been employed by the Concord rejects society.Neither player would get a gig in the NRL at a strong club contending for the premiership.Coz May is a proven gun winger it will probably be Skelton.Imo in the not too distant future LL is likely to jump both Skelton & Toa in pecking order.
