for 200K a week.

he is a shadow of the player he once was and no big clubs want to pay him what he is demanding.
Yeah right.
Eight goals last campaign from 17 when injured.

A half-fit Ronaldinho is still twice as good as just about everyone else on the planet.

Take out third-party deals/shirt sales/increase in tickets and that £10 million a year (£200k a week maximum) starts to look very small indeed.

And sorry Twiz, Hart won't come to Spurs. He's just holding out for a contract upgrade, which he is certain to get.

There is a reason why no big clubs are coming in for him. Be great though if he pulls his finger out and recaptures a glimmer of his best.

I sort of got that impression.

Good luck to him if it works for him.

Maybe, just maybe that's because he will get more chances and Spurs, you guys don't even have a goalie (Robinson doesn't count)

Robbo's been shown the door

we are looking at about 4 different keepers atm

there is no clear indication of who will replace him yet

Spurs want Podolski June 19, 2008

GERMANY forward Lukas Podolski has revealed he is tempted by an approach from Tottenham Hotspur.
Lukas Podolski has found it hard to hold down a place in Bayern Munich's first 11. Picture: GETTY IMAGES Reports in the German media have claimed Spurs manager Juande Ramos is ready to pay £pounds;10 million ($27m) for Podolski.
Jurgen Klinsmann, who gave Podolski his international debut while in charge of Germany, will take over as Mudnich coach next season, but it now appears the Polish-born forward could leave before then.
'That is very interesting for me,' said Podolski of Spurs' interest.
Podolski, the outstanding young player at the 2006 World Cup, joined Bayern for 10 million euros ($21m) two years ago after a spectacular start to his career with second division Cologne. But his Munich career has largely failed to ignite under Ottmar Hitzfeld.
THIRD CHOICE
The 23-year-old was limited to being third choice striker last season behind Bundesliga leading scorer Luca Toni and Miroslav Klose and with Bayern reportedly flirting with a move for Mario Gomez, competition for places at Bayern would be even hotter.
With Spurs set to lose Dimitar Berbatov, Podolski could be a replacement. He has made 98 Bundesliga appearances for the Bavarians, scoring 31 goals. He has scored 28 goals in 51 games for Germany.
Juventus are also interested in the striker and are reportedly ready to make an offer.

we wont sell unless we buy a replacement.

he played his best football for the national side under klinsman, so hopefully will get a good run.

Read the same article yesterday replacing "Spurs" with "Arsenal".

Would be a great buy for anyone at 10m.

Podolski is one of many German national players who's reputation far exceeds his ability. Similar to Klose and Gomez.

Good players, but they'd be similar to what the likes of Dean Ashton and Jermaine Defoe are to England.

Good, but far from world class.
