I am just looking at him playing in the qld cup replay game on fox for souths logan.

What is the go with that I thought he was singed up by knights or was that a short team contract?

As far as I know south logan is not a feeder club for knights right?

He's contracted with both clubs, when we need him he has to fly to Newcastle, the Knights come first. He's in Newcastle now because Buderus is out, when Buderus comes back he'll go back to Souths Logan until e need him again.

oh ok cool, would be easier for him if he was just playing reserve grade for knights when he is not in first team but yeah understandable.

I would assume that if he was we would have to pay him more. This arrangement is likely more of a 'match payment' type deal.

Anyone feel free to correct me if i am just making things up though.

Yeah exactly, we didn't have room for him in the first grade squad and we didn't have enough left in the second tier cap for him so he's signed with us so we can use him when we need him, on match payments only.

In all honesty, this guy is terrible... His service out of dummy half is slow, he can't make any line breaks, runs crap all metres out of dummy half and gives away dumb penalties...

I think WB will definitely drop him and keep Clysdale in the side. I personally can't watch the lower grades but I was worried that we didn't have anything good in the hooking stocks after Bedsy (since we were after hookers in the off season and we were using guys like Adams and Costigan there) but this kid looks the goods. He seems like a the modern hooker with lots of skills and smart decision making.

That was most likely the last game Waddell ever plays for us. Bedsy, Clydsdale and Gower all available next week

I liked his first game for us.... but his service is slower than Hilder's.

He has to pick up the ball, skip right, then pump, then pass.

Advantage over.

Yes but they are all under contract to other clubs. The rest are certainly sub NRL standard like Travis

The Knights tried to entice Baptiste who was under contract but they should have tried to entice Granville who is ranked behind McCulloch and Baptiste at the Broncos and would have been an easier target to get.

Granville is streets ahead of Waddell and in my opinion better than Baptiste anyway.

It really is surprising that the greatest coach in modern era can't see how bad this bloke is.

How could he be better than Clydesdale?

I don't think Wayne actually watches the games anymore, I think he is phoning it in now.

I just want to say this about Waddell;

He has copped heaps on here and I'm not going to argue that it's not justified but I like that the guy has a dig each time he is selected and he puts in massively in defence.

That is all.

For me he is a case of 'don't hate the player hate the game'. He tries hard when he's selected and puts his body on the line for the team but he isn't up to scratch and the coach should take the blame for continuing to select him.

He is our modern Reegan Tanner.
