Isn't kicking really the easiest component of a half back's game. I mean how many times do you need to kick a ball to work out how far it's going to travel, how hard is it to look up field to work out where the fullback and wingers are positioned? I just don't get it.
McCrone can organise us fairly well and he is aggressive in defence, but he just can't seem to work out how to kick a ball and it baffles me it's the case after more than a decade in the game. He's so close to being a great halfback and yet so, so far. I forgave him for his match losing error against the Roosters but the kicking game against the Sharks was the worst in memory.
