I've been massively impressed by this kid in every game starting with the Charity Shield where he made 2 or 3 try-saving tackles.

He's upped his workrate and his metres-after-contact are phenomenal.

I can't believe Stuart left him out of the "Blues-in-waiting" squad.

The longer he stays 'under the radar' the better for us.
He's going to be one of the game's best props sooner or later, so if we can hang on to him for a few $ less: perfect.

He has loads of potential and he seems to be a very committed person. Hopefully he fulfills his potential with the dragons and a team like the dogs do not try and poach another quality youngster.

awesome player... he's come into grade quite young for a front rower so hopefully it develops him earlier, not wears him out..

i ended up having a beer or two with his dad on grand final day at the club after the game.. he was just as proud as punch of his son... was great to see actually.. reminds you that these blokes we idolise are just like everday people who have everyday stories..

Dropped the ball cold over the tryline against the dogs I remember that one, apart from that 1 error (literally) Merrin has been nothing but amazing I rate Merrin really highly will be playing origin by next year. Cannot recall him having a bad game over a huge metre eater.

A mate of mine has talked to him a couple of times, each time mentions looking for a sign about him when he runs out and is cut we haven't come up with one.
