Steyn is a great bowler. The first time I saw him he was belted all over Australia and I thought we'd never see him again. Now he's up there with the best of them.

Well South Africa did that easy with 9 overs left and 6 wickets spare.

Du Plessis made 96 and he got out with only 1 run to win. He has to be the man of the series and he seems to play brilliantly when playing us. Also a very good innings from De Villiers a quick fire 57 off 41 not out.

No Aussie bowler really stood up South Africa just outplayed us.

Lyon 10 overs 0/41 (1 maiden)
Tahir 10 overs 1/40

separated at birth?

We were 100 runs short and deserved the spanking we got

Did we learn anything from this "nothing" tournament?

Hard to tell considering it wasn't our full strength side. But Maxwell should never bat in the top 5, and only be brought in at 6 when we are is a decent position ready for an assault. The guy just doesn't have the temperament to play a Bevan or Hussey innings when the chips are down.

The Lyon experiment will continue

Mitchell Marsh pushing Sunshine as our no1 allrounder (room for both in the side imo)

Steve Smith should be batting at 5 or 6 in one dayers. no higher

Australia for mine are WC favourites, our batting is strong and our bowlers will do well in our home conditions. However, this series told us a few things. Firstly, our top 3 is Finch, Warner, Watson. HAH, Smith and Show  should be nowhere near the top 3, in fact I don't have that trio in my side at all (Smith would come in if Clarke was unfit and bat at 6) Clarke at 4 Bailey 5 Marsh 6 Haddin 7 Faulkner 8 Johnson, Starc, Lyon. Lyon is the best spinner in Australia and needs to be persisted with.

My biggest issue with the side is Clarke's fitness and ability to play the entire World Cup.

Also Big Show will be in the side because apparently playing Arsey in the first half of a domestic 20/20 competition guarantees you a spot for life in the ODI side regardless of how shit your scores are or how embarrassingly irresponsible your shots to get out are.

Australian cricket team performed like the Parramatta eels yesterday...

How much would Australia 2015 world cup winners and Parramatta premiers for 2015 be paying at the moment? might put a bit on that
