Sirro playing 80 mins? Geez he must be a lot fitter than last year.

I reckon we will see a breakout season from Sirro this year. He was still finding his feet in the back row last year (and he was injured half the bloody time) but towards the end he started looking good. Hopefully we will see him live up to the hype!

Any word on when Nofa will be back.

From that team it looks like Santi is at the top of the pecking order for our young backrowers ahead of Lovett, Liolevave, Funaki and Sitaleki A

I reckon this will be a fairly interesting trial. Against the Eels their team was no where near as strong as it could and we pretty much held them to nil but the Sharks actually have plenty of points in them, they also have a big point to prove as the current wooden spooners.

If our defence can be on song again I'll be more than happy. It seems Taylor is working towards a tougher defence and moving away from the razzle dazzle or add lib attack. He likes structured attack and that may just suit our current team more.

Should be a good hit out.....

I reckon Siro could turn into a gun. I also don't think he has been bad at all.

Sironen would not play starting backrow for any other team.

Our backrow is by far the weakest in the comp. no tackle busters or line breakers, all questionable defenders or unproven in firsts. Plenty of unproven 'talent'. Taupau needs to play 13 in a Gallen role to add some punch and because we are overstocked in front rowers.

Ive never seen a weaker backrow than Halatau, Sironen and Akoala.
I assume that is our starting backrow.
When injuries hit we only have rookies to replace them too.

I would say Sue would be in our starting backrow but he still doesn't improve it enough to negate your point of being the weakest in the comp

If Tupau can transition to the back row then we would at least have some more punch. However I actually really like Halutau at lock. Him amd Farah darting out of dummy half could eat alot of well needed metres

Grant Mayer just tweeted

Almost 6000 people viewing the game tonight online. Some having issues with Internet speed but enough seen to know it's been a win for us.

Is that going to be the Tigers motto for the year.

Close enough is a win

The stream is working great for me once they made it 240p rather than 480p.

Our forwards are looking pretty good. Galloway and Siro have been great. Taupau started at lock which I think worked well.
