We are talking 2 Aussie reps, 1 Kiwi rep, and a Qld Origin player...
Vaealiki and Hindmarsh fair enough.... but Hopkins, Muckert and Pearson aren't up to anywhere near that mate!!

And as has been said, it was a TRIAL. No one really cares too much. If I remember correctly, we didn't win a game in pre-season a few years back, and were 40 minutes from a Grand Final at the end of the year.

Yeah I know that close enough isn't good enough. I'm the first to admit that the Sharks have under-achieved, and should have had a grand-final or two under their belts lately.

Like I said earlier, we lost a few trials a few years back and had a very decent year.
Hell, didn't Souths win some trials last year?!? Look where they finished!!!

Trials are only beneficial to get some match fitness, and get some combinations worked out.

To get upset over it would be stupid.
