Hopgood looks every inch a first grader. O'Sullivan best player. Staines looks like he has more confidence.

Hopgood is the clear stand out. His line speed and defence is excellent. He looks set for a big year.

Turuva pretty good. Falls has had some good touches. Staines very involved but not doing enough to put him ahead of Crichton as the back up fullback.

Happy with SOS (but I guess as expected with his FG experience). Staines' involvement has been great, forced to I guess playing 1, but missed the mark sometimes to do some dirty work on the wing last year. Liam Henry had a few good moments and some good energy.. one to look out for!

plenty of the young guys and the fringe guys looking good. SOS been good, hopgood been very solid great defender, Tago been good, rob Jennings looks very solid, salmon and Turuva had some nice moments.

O’Sullivan looks good .still looking for a forward to stand out.Geyer looks the goods but is still developing .very impressed with Staines involment the game is giving us what we expected both sides under strength
We actually look more likely to score .All up our depth is good

He has been excellent. I like that he pops up on the right as well. Best on field so far.

Salmon and Staines have also been good. I dont mind the 22 either, braindead challenge aside.

Young MG has very obvious potential, if he stays fit and works hard he will be a very good player. Athletically very gifted and showed a bit of skill with his hands and hole running on that try, I remember reading he has a great work ethic off the field, very keen to see him over the next couple seasons.

You can see the training standards play out in real time. Most look good physically and in attitude. Staines hit the gym and plenty of chicken, rice and broccoli.

Staines has looked solid at the back. I think he's suffering from not having our first choice playmakers in some set plays. But he has taken some good catches and looks like we have some plays designed for his speed. Nothing spectacular but nothing bad either

Likewise Turuva has looked solid. Some very nice touches. We look close to creating stuff with these guys and Tago. Just lacking a bit of polish.

But considering this would be our second 17 last year its a very decent performance all round so far
