I actually really like the look of our pack; I know RCG just made a bad miss, which led to a try, but we look powerful, mobile, and agile.

Also, for a bloke who gets criticised for not being a good enough fullback, Gutherson made a brilliant play (in the play where Michael Jennings ended up with the ball, after the Panthers player was being pushed into touch, and going the ball back inside).

Gutherson saw Sivo come to make the tackle, and immediately made a beeline for the Panthers winger, in case Sivo made an ineffective tackle; lo and behold, Sivo's tackle was ineffective, but because Gutherson read the play so well, he shut it down immediately.

He is pure class.

At 26 min mark and Parra attack pedestrian at best and defence fragile. I was hoping defence would improv but no indication of that. Very disappointing.

Trial or not our defence is poor!! This as as close as you get to a premiership match and it doesn’t look like much has changed, Matterson very underwhelming so far!
