With BHU and Finucane out the middle is weakened significantly. There is a distinct lack of impact coming from the bench.
Tolman is a solid toiler who can play decent minutes and tackle at high efficiency. Williams lack of impact is disappointing given what he did last year. He may be taking time to build fitness and confidence in his knee.
Trindall seems to have no role apart from injury cover. Bringing him on on the last 15 minutes isn't doing anything.
They needed a bench that could shift the flat energy in the Broncos game. Instead we got more of the same. I suspect Fitz would like a bench that could up the tempo like McInnes has done but doesn't have the cattle right now.
Pele could make a difference with his charges bit comes with defensive issues. CT in a running lock role could up the tempo but he is busted.
