TRL 9s cancelled, CEO sacked, season in jeopardy. No idea why

The TRL Thailand Nines has been cancelled. Due to issue beyond our control we have had to cancel this event. As a result our Chief of Operations, Mr Supawat Chatsakrulsri has been relieved of his position.The TRL will be holding meetings this week and the future of Rugby League in Thailand will be determined in the coming days.

According to facebook seems the stadium booking was pulled at the last moment due to worries about the surface quality for upcoming soccer games.

Sounds like a sorry situation, but these things can happen I suppose. What a bummer.
