This forum is a funny read. Firstly I will point out Newcastle have been terrible for years, now playing Semi Finals you have the best Winger ever to play.
Secondly, Newcastle are transforming players into superstars?
It wasn’t that long ago everyone was calling for AOB to be sacked. Laughable.

Knights were definitely the over achievers this year. Just showed yesterday that they were making up the numbers. Great game from Johnson, shows what a difference a genuine halfback makes to a team.

Not Smug, just stating the truth. Every year a teams over achieves to make the finals, this year it was Newcastle. Honestly tell me 10 weeks ago you weren‘t calling for AOB to be sacked.

Why not just end the comp 10 weeks ago then? Making up the numbers for f**k sake. The past 2 months have been the some of most entertaining couple of weeks for tens of thousands of Newcastle fans. It has meant the world to a city full of people. Go f**k right off mate. Seroiusly.

Let's see the tune he is singing when Munster has a blinder this weekend and ends the three peat dream. One thing Muns does better than anyone is pull a masterclass out of his arse when he seems like he is a bit flat. Storm win.

I've always wondered what would have happened if the Knights had joined Super League instead of staying with the ARL. It would have certainly affected the outcome of the Super League war.

The ARL competition would have been weakened without the Knights, as they were one of the stronger and more popular teams. The Super League, on the other hand, would have been bolstered by their inclusion, potentially making it more competitive and appealing to fans.

The Knights joining Super League would have tipped the balance more in favour of Super League. The ARL might have struggled more to compete, leading to different terms in the eventual merger of Super League and ARL in 1998 to form the NRL. The power dynamics during negotiations would have been influenced by the Knights' presence in Super League.
