Unless they want to turn him into a super sub there's no room for him in a team that has SJ, Hingano, RTS, Kata, Fus. The halves, fullback, centre, these positions are locked up for a long time assuming the Warriors can keep that core together, which is a very exciting prospect.

He is not a winger. The Warriors need to get some real wingers. Sick of seeing seemingly every other team in the comp have wingers pulling off brilliant, acrobatic defying belief type finishes while the Warriors keep persisting with these makeshift, out of position wingers who keep stinking up the joint. It seems even with injuries these other clubs have an array of genuine wingers while the Warriors can barely find one.

I like Tui, he's shown he has an x-factor capable of breaking NRL level defenses at times and still very young. He has also been jerked about with his development which has been shit. But regardless, he is still not a better option than any of the guys in the positions he should be playing, he's never going to usurp any of those guys and those guys, hopefully, won't be going anywhere anytime soon.

Ideally they could find a team keen on him who would be able to offer up a decent prop or winger in exchange.
Best option for his career is surely to be moving on also.

Well to be fair we have one great winger in Fusitua, but it's been decided he's a centre now. Manu may still have one great year left. Will get an idea of that after tonight. But yes, we are painfully short on wingers. However we need one or two good props even more desperately.

You guys are all absolutely right that there just isn't a place in the team for Tui right now. We should use him as leverage to get a prop or winger that we actually need.

Warrior wants out

Tuimoala Lolohea has been eyeing a shift across the Tasman since the Warriors dropped him to reserve grade. The New Zealand international can't get an NRL start at a club sitting outside the top eight and isn't happy about it.

Some of the teams interested in his services during the off-season, such as the Eels and Dragons, have dropped off after signing Mitchell Moses and Ben Hunt respectively. However, there is still demand for the 22-year-old, who has no intention of seeing out the final 18 months of his contract with the Vulcans. We hear Canberra have made inquiries about his availability.

I can't see a way back in for Tui. It's interesting with the big merry-go-round of halves switching clubs that his name hasn't been mentioned. I can't see where he'd fit at Canberra either.

And seriously, how long since we've been called the Vulcans???

I thought he couldnt go anywhere. One of us was saying hes locked up here with his contract.

Raiders do need 6 and a 7.

Lol because he walks into the raiders side? The only 2 teams he walks into is the tigers and knights.

Perfect chance to swap him for a prop

To be honest I hope we do let him go. It's not like us playing him on the wing in R/G is doing anything for his game as a future 6, 7 or 1. If our club were serious about developing him as as stand-off, wouldn't they/he be putting in the work 24/7 and then playing him there on the weekend. We can't keep him in the hope he'll magically turn into the Foran type player everyone so desires. Cut him free if that's what he's after. As long as there's no cost to us, as in paying a % of his contact, then I think it's all good.

It's all good to bag someone for underperforming, but to laugh at him floundering in R/G watching his career fade away, that's different altogether.

i really dont see what teams would want him tbh. If they watch the same games as we do they would see a defensive liability who crabs across field or backwards! when returning the ball. When was the last time you saw him step anybody? Hes lucky to be getting a game in our reserve grade team imo.

He doesn't walk into the Tigers... not yet anyway, or unless Cleary just wants him
