As much as I hate to admit it, I dont think we will see him back this year. Possibly he might get a couple of games in lower grades but cant see him being rushed into first grade with no match time.

I heard a couple of days ago that TNT will be back in around 4 weeks.... But i guess thats what they've been saying for a while now... Thanks f$%k we signed Lote...

During the Props Pentathalon on NRL on Fox u see him standing on the 20m line for the 40/20 kick, his leg is still in a cast.

I'd hate to say it but i think he's done. He may play again but the Tank that we have grown to love is all but done.

Unless he shows some serious progress at years end the Tigers need to let him go or puit him on a ridiculous contract or match payments or something. Not worth it when we so badly need a halfback or another prop not to mention retain the others.

Well he is now walking without a limp, no cast...

On the telegraph's website today:

THE Tigers will know within the next month whether powerhouse winger Taniela Tuiaki is a realistic chance of making an on-field comeback in 2010.

Tuiaki has had a devil of a time recovering from a horrendous ankle injury he suffered in round 24 last year, and only returned to the team's training base at Concord a few weeks ago.

In an effort to aid his recovery, the Tigers are using needling methods.

"Hopefully that will speed things up and we'll see him back in a month," Tigers recruitment manager Warren McDonnell said. "But if it doesn't, then we'll be back to the drawing board."

Given he's off-contract at the end of this year Tuiaki, currently on $200,000-plus at Wests, needs a miracle more than ever.

I can confidently guarentee 2 things:
1. Dr Death will f**k up with the needles
2. We wont get a definate answer out of our club
