One he carried 3 over and wrestled the ball to the ground.

His first came from an explosive line run that knocked a few out of his path

His fitness was better than I expected.

He played his first stint of 20 minutes and came on for the last 10 or so as well.

Talking to alot of people in the club it is agreed that flying down the morning of the Melbourne game was a mistake and it showed with alot of guys looking lathargic after only a few minutes on field.

Anyway give Tame a month and I will be very interested to see where he is at and how he learns the trade of a prop

yeah, they looked very flat and lazy against Melbourne. It wasn't until the last 20 minutes that they started to really outclass the Storm, but by then, the momentum was against them and they were down by 24 points.

Reports have been that he has looked ordinary at best. Very short of a run, which is to be expected because firstly he has barely played in the last couple of years and secondly he is playing in a new position where he would not be used to defensive structures, running lines, etc.

Apparently he has been doing some good things which is positive, but not up to first grade standard yet.

I don't think it is too much to worry about, he will definitely get better with more game time.

He hasn't been in space yet as far as I know, so too hard to tell how he goes pace wise.

His acceleration off the mark is very ordinary indeed. It's up there with Martin Bella.

He has good leg drive when being tackled though. I seriously think he needs to drop about 10kgs if he wants to play in the backline.

Otherwise, increase his fitness and speed and he can play anywhere in the pack.

He looked a bit lost last saturday, only got 15 mins....a couple of runs, looked out of place in D in the forwards

I've seen him play a couple of times and suggest he would be long, long odds to ever play first grade again. Simply off the pace and overweight for a back and lacking any line speed or lateral ability in the forwards. Carries a few defenders when he's running the ball but not looking at all threatening. Seems 10kg overweight, as mentioned by someone else. Shouldn't even be getting a run in reserves at the moment and would be lucky to last 40 minutes playing park football.

Word is that he weighs 120kgs

Far to big to be a back.

And no idea positionally to be a front rower
