Gronk and MITS are still dirty that 3P won the elction.

Not in the slightest, I am just pointing out, things that are happening around our club. Like I did for many years prior to the election, we all said the same thing about Bert prior to him getting on the board.

Probably not, thats probably why we wont sign him. As opposed to the old board who continiously gave Riddell and Timmy Smith chances. Then signed Finch despite his record. Oh and lets not forget the decision to make the welfare officer position redundant where not long later, Hayne has a bullet fly past his head and Timmy Smith looses it.

So do we have a full time welfare officer now?

Given Da's comments at the ticket holders forum Kenny's comments are not a problem.

If there is any league interest Parra should be driving Lote's price up.

Gives us a better chance of picking up a bargain basement player down the track eg a Titans backrower who might subsequently become available.

Interesting how you know who I voted for. You might be surprised, ya pelican.

Ando & Spag seem to be the logical media go-to men, the rest should STFU.

Im happy to be proven wrong, like some posts of you critisising the decision to make the welfare officer redundant.

Firstly the position was not made redundant. The Welfare officer moved from the Club mid 2007 when offered a position with greater responsibility at South Sydney, as of the start of 2008 the position had not been filled full time, indeed it is a currently a Part time position filled by Phil Moss.

You can Trawl back to posts in the Start of 2008 if you like but I don't know if I posted anything back then about the lack of a Welfare officer, but I did question how a Welfare officer would have stopped Jaryd being shot at. When you consider the Welfare officers job is to look after things like Part Time employment or Education of players and other such programs not hold their hands when they go out for a Drink.

Yes a cost cutting measure, I remember.

So you think it was a coincidence that we had numerous off field incidents after John Hutchinson left the club?

Well firstly you spoke about incidents with Mark Riddell and Tim Smith, these happened in 2006 at the start of the year with John was at the Club. Indeed Brett Finch was also photographed Drinking and Smoking in 2006 when John was at the Club. IIRC Nathan Cayless broke a camera at Star City in 2006 as well and John was at the club then.

Tim Smith's Santa Episode happened in 2005, when John was at the club.

With the Incidents at the Start of 2008, I don't know if as I said John could have stopped Jaryed being shot at in Kings Cross.

As for Tim Smith, well it might have been possible for John to help Tim wrestle his personal daemons, orginising some more counseling other then that the club had already orginised, paid for an made sure Tim attended since Mid 2006, but short of forcing the drugs down his throat, I don't think it would have helped. I get the inside word Tim was against the pills because he thought he was a Normal 20 year old, and didn't need Anti-depressants when indeed he did need them.

It would be interesting to hear how Tim was doing personally now at Wigan, if he had finally admitted he has a Mental Heath problem or not.

LOL

I'm only stirring.

But the bloke is an elected director, a great of the club, and he can talk to whoever he wants.

His comments could logically have been part of a strategy agreed with the others for all we know anyway.

I can't see how he's done any harm. DA has his list and his strategy.

Funny how only you and MITS came down on him like a ton of bricks though. Even though you were single handedly responsible for voting 3p in of course!:lol:

I would have done the same if Chris Jurd or Geoff Gerard would have done it then or indeed if Mr Gerard had done it now.

While an elected representative of the board, and indeed a member of the legends of Parramatta team, as Stagger said, he may want to speak with Mr Hilditch (the Chairman of the Board he sits on), Mr Hill (The Acting CEO of both the NRL side and the District Club) or the coach of the NRL side (whom Mr Kenny's ticket stated was safe in the position and would not be affected by their election) so that the club are not sending out mixed messages, especially to their fans, whom they addresses last night.

I don't see any problem in publicly saying that we are interested. It all helps push up the amount that another club has to fork out for him, reducing their cap room, and leaving us better off in the long run.

Unless we are not Genuinely interested then we are playing ducks and drakes which I have a problem with.

I have done it before sweethearts and will do it again. Not everything is as black and white in my world. I can support a board and still hold it to account if required. Indeed I seemed to be the only one on this forum doing it for several years.
