I would like to know how far Fox have investigated having a designated Rugby League channel ?? If you throw in Premier League, Jersey Flegg, JBC, selected matches from the CRL and QSL, Arrive Alive and junior reps Harold Matthews and SG Ball, that's a f**ken lot of footy (and a quick trip to the divorce court) for every league lover to wallow in. I think it would be fantastic. 24hr Rugby League, warm the set and cool the tinnies.

Well Hoops is an AFL f**ktard troll, but I'm very surprised at nqboy unless he is thinks PL would take over QLD Cup in QLD which wouldn't happen.

up here in qld on a sat arvo we get a qld cup game (good football comp)
then nothing till the fox sports coverage @530 would make for a great sat arvo for watchin footy and drinkin beer if abc could broadcast a pl game.

This issue was discussed on another board a while ago. Generally, if anyone disagreed with the idea it is usually for the same reason: "Why bother? It's a lower standard of Rugby League, I only want to watch the best..." All of them were clearly brilliant students of the game (not). Unfortunately, I'm sure this opinion would be voiced by a reasonable number of RL fans.

Aside from that, as Brutus said, it's only idiotic AFL trolls who want the SFL televised in Sydney or something...

I think it's pathetic how the NRL won't allow PL live on the ABC when the ABC has stated it would gladly televise it.

It's all about contracts with Fox Sports - pathetic! There's more to RL than simply NR f**king L.

I don't think you would get many fans voting no to more Rugby League on TV, in fact I think you would fine it wouldn't matter if it was the Group 10 A-Grade competition, provided it didn't clash with say a NRL match on TV at the same time and was on a reasonable time, a lot of RL fans would watch it.

I need more anyway as the media mobs and NRL think there is no interest hence my poll to prove them as liars. While the AFL are cashed up due to their own channel and commercial TV and that they shown all state comps on it yes they will always get more exposure.

Our admin mob think more exposure is about sitting in the sun with a slab in hand and head in the sand.
