Business decision, it's why Lachlan Murdoch got involved - trying to fix up the mess.

I wouldn't completely write off their chances of bidding for some NRL, as he mentions "premium sport" in the article. As everyone knows, currently the NRL is definitely in this category.

Anyway, I think people are starting to realise that the main change to NRL's tv rights will be the cost, with some slight changes to how the pie is divided ( who gets games & timeslots on what days ). Ch9 & Fox Sports will still have the majority of the games, with possibly Ch7 picking up 1 game per week.

What does this mean for both shows, since OneHD won't be a sports channel anymore.

I sat down last night and watched this show..I missed the first 15 mins or so..Seen it before...

Then I watched the Ch9 Footy Show...

I dunno if anyone has posted this before, but the in terms of quality rugby league discussion the gulf is immense..

I totally enjoyed the ONE HD show and the panel is excellent..Great stories as well..

Highlights: The expansion discussion..General discussion about the game

Lowlight: Hannant putting Tests 3rd after GF and Origin.. :x

I know the 2 shows are difrferent markets, but jeez if you don't know it's on and you get a chance give it a go..

I prefer the One Week at a Time show. I just can't stand Andrew Moore and Dean Ritchie........

But both OneHD shows are much better than what 9 offers.

They're so much better than anything Nine and some of the stuff Fox produces. Hopefully the extension to 90mins is in preparation for them getting part of the television package.

My sources tell me that a Friday 6:30pm-7:30pm Pre-Game Show is potentially in the works if/when they get the double header.
