Broncos to finish 10th!!! Warriors to finish 11th!!!!

His full list is in next weeks Sun Herald footy liftout! Looks like he's trying for a bigger blooper than his "Penrith will finish last" last year.       Good old Potato Head, certainly knows how to keep his Melon in the news. I noticed in his weekend column he has a cast of thousands all lined up to help him win this years SOO series. Wonder when he'll quit as coach this year, one week before, two weeks, we should hold a poll. ;-)

NZ should make the top 5. I think the Broncos will finish 8th, so 10th isn't that bad a tip.

If I wanted to brag, I would have mentioned in my original post that we were minor premiers as well.

Let's not exaggerate Tony - if anything, it is Phil Gould's rebuilding year.

Afterall, he literally could not have been more wrong last year - naming the eventual major and minor premiers as his wooden-spooners. I never thought someone in Gould's position could reach the heights of inaccuracy, complete inaccuracy, but he has.

But you've gotta love Uncle Phil - maybe it is a lucky-hat-dip or something. Poor fellow.

I've mellowed a bit with regards to criticising Gould - I'm trying to limit my levels of criticism to remain in the confines of constructive criticism.
Thankfully Gould's predictions seem to sort themselves out - perhaps he will be on a winner this year.

Yes I suppose using your reasonable reasoning maybe the Broncos one isn't so outrageous, but I really don't see the Warriors coming in in eleventh possi. I wouldn't mind Philly tipping us for the spoon.

Warriors to finish 11th? I don't think so somehow!

I thought Laurie Daley's prediction of the Dragons finishing 1st was completely laughable. This was in the Big League 2004 Preview mag. The rest of teams were in logical positions, but the Dragons...first?

I too don't reckon the Broncos'll do too well this year.

Gould....pffft.

He has an average football brain, and has not the humility to leave it alone. My tip is that he will finish last in all the major tipping comps he is in. I will also predict that if he pressures johns again like last season, Hagan will give it to him with both barrels, and rightly so. :D
