Cam McInnes my choice as captain as well. In his latest interview he speaks of leadership via his actions and determination on the field also, he truely understands the history and tradition of what it means to wear the famous dragons guernsey.

I would have Frizell and Mc Innes both as Joint Captains as they are both ornaments to our game. Frizell is a local while both have great work ethics.

Don’t ruin another thread with your petty name calling..

We’re all a bit sick of it..

McInnes might be my favourite Dragons player in decades. Honestly even more than some 2010 blokes. Everything he says and does is perfect and he's everything you could ever want in a captain.
I'd like to see T Sims as captain. Both McInnes and Frizell are not good at public speaking and have not impressed me with their decision making on field. To me Sims seems to be a stip above and will return to form this season now that he is over his injury.

I don't think a senior player needs to be awarded the captain tag just because they are quite rightly seen as 'ornaments' of the game. I'm afraid I'm not a fan of the joint captains concept. Either you have a captain or you don't, sure Tyson can take over in Cam's absence any time that happens but I don't think you need to have a senior player like Tyson to have the captain's tag for him to be a leader.

I’ve often wondered about the use of the term “ornament” to describe a player.

Makes me think they look fancy, but have f**k all usefulness.

And tend to be easily breakable too...
