Either way, no $$$$$ were mentioned re the deals being offered. Not sure who is telling the truth but could make a fair guess.

Anyone else of the opinion only a few Fijians excel at this level into their late 20's and 30's? Lote's the obvious one, then Noa but I feel most of them fade at that age anyway.

Not playing him is going to decrease his value too, so we'll be left paying more of his contracts if he leaves us.

Probably not, but I'd rather our cap be spent on player playing for our club, not helping out other teams e.g. Roberts with the Titans.

Watched his Reserve grade performance against the cutters. Woeful.

The writing was on the wall in the warm up prior to the game. They were doing tackl busting drills down the northern end prior to kickoff and Uate was just standing by watching for most of it. Not interested in joining in at all. He had a go at the end.

During the game he was terrible. At one point the cutters put up a bomb that landed somewhere around our 10-20m line and about 1m in front of Uate. He just stood there and let it bounce. He made several defensive errors with positioning and went missing on occasion from his position.

He did score a try though prompting one lady at the back of the hill to yell out "Back to first grade Uate". I couldn't resist and yelled out "Yeah, but learn to tackly first Uate".

I was thinking yesterday maybe we could've used him lately with our injuries, but if that is the way he is performing he can get stuffed.
